The California AgTech Alliance connects hundreds of innovators and thousands of workers across California agriculture. Talent, technology, and the network that links them reinforce one another, so progress in one area supports the others. With $28.6 million invested in agricultural innovation, nine Regional Innovation Hubs, and more than 200 startups supported, the Alliance helps practical AgTech solutions and career pathways reach more farms, workers, and communities across the state.

The first annual Alliance Convening brings together members, regional leaders, innovators, and partners to share ideas, strengthen connections, and shape what comes next. Join us Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the UCSC Silicon Valley Campus in Santa Clara, with a hosted dinner Monday, October 12 and an optional morning tour Wednesday, October 14. RSVP by September 25.

We connect entrepreneurs to California growers, regional partners, and pilot opportunities across the state. Grant support for field testing and demonstration comes with research partners attached. Investor networks and commercialization support sit on the same platform, so promising technology has a route toward adoption.

We connect growers to the demo sites, research partners, and startups working on labor, climate, and cost pressures. Problems named in the field shape which technologies move through entrepreneurship programming. Workforce partners across the state prepare the skilled workers those technologies require.
Training built for a changing industry.
We connect workers, students, and career changers to training designed around the changing needs of California agriculture. Partner programs across the state offer hands-on experience, from robotics and drone work to field day training. Employer-informed credentials and paid internships open routes into AgTech roles.
Aligned effort across California's regions.
We convene an Industry Advisory Board that sets sector priorities and keeps the work grounded in real operational needs. Cross-regional working groups, an annual statewide convening, and policymaker field visits keep partners aligned while regional leadership stays local. Shared research and reporting give leaders a common view of the ecosystem.
A coordinated view of the ecosystem.
We connect investors and economic development partners to California's agricultural innovation ecosystem through a single statewide platform. A digital hub carries the network directory, test bed map, events calendar, and startup directory. Grant support and investor engagement help reduce the risk of early investment in technologies tested with California growers.
