Digital NEST

Overview

Digital NEST helps Latinx youth and other young people from underserved California communities build technology skills, professional networks, and careers. Its programs connect career exploration with technical pathways, individual coaching, and paid work experience. Young people can move through Explore, Build, and Launch activities as they develop skills and prepare for employment. Educators, employers, and community partners can support youth development or connect with BizzNEST’s creative services.

What they do

Technology career exploration

Introduces Latinx teens and other young people from underserved communities to design, AI, and coding through hands-on workshops, real projects, and trips to companies.

Technical career pathways

Trains young adults in UX/UI design, digital marketing, web and software development, and information technology, with one-on-one coaching as they build professional portfolios.

Paid work experience

Runs an in-house creative agency where young adults work on paid client projects with mentorship, resume coaching, and interview preparation; the agency also provides creative services to businesses and organizations.
