Economic Development Collaborative

The Economic Development Collaborative (EDC) is a nonprofit that helps businesses start, grow and access capital in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. It hosts a Small Business Development Center with no-cost advising, provides business loans, and offers export and import help through its Go Global Trade Program. Its Cultivate & Ignite Tech Program advises technology founders, including in agriculture, and its Food System Resilience Loan Program lends to food businesses in Santa Barbara County. Entrepreneurs and small business owners, including food and agricultural businesses, can contact EDC for advising or to discuss loan options.
