Imperial Valley College prepares students for agricultural careers and further study. Plant science and agribusiness education
Offers transfer degrees and certificates in agriculture plant science and agriculture business, preparing Imperial Valley students for CSU transfer or careers in crop consulting, farm management, inspection, processing, and marketing.
Agricultural equipment technology
Offers degrees and certificates in maintaining and repairing farm tractors, diesel and heavy equipment, hydraulics, and automation systems, including preparation for ASE diesel exams and farm equipment technician jobs.
Internships and transfer support
Offers agriculture majors paid internships with agencies and local agricultural employers, along with leadership development, counseling, and scholarships for transfer to partner universities, through a USDA-funded program.
