Overview
REAP Climate Center connects ecological learning, local climate action, and pathways toward nature-based employment. Its Alameda campus supports urban farming, habitat restoration, regenerative exhibits, makerspace activities, and partner organizations. Community members can explore volunteering and practical ecological projects, while educators and organizations can discuss learning experiences or collaboration. What they do
Nature-based skills training
Its workforce approach includes partner-developed, hands-on certificate courses in regenerative landscaping, composting, biochar, vermiculture, fungi-based bioremediation, and habitat restoration, plus vocational training in regenerative food service and logistics.
Ecological learning and volunteering
The Alameda campus hosts urban farming, habitat restoration, regenerative exhibits, and makerspace activities where Bay Area community members, students, and volunteers take part in practical ecological projects.
Campus partnerships
Shares its campus with partner organizations and works with educators, companies, and community groups on climate learning and nature-based solutions.
