Overview
Reservoir Farms connects technology development with working farms. Its incubators give startups a setting to build, test, and validate agricultural products alongside growers and industry partners. Memberships and residencies combine field access, prototype resources, grower feedback, and commercialization support. Growers, research teams, and education partners can discuss trials, co-development, validation, or workforce partnerships. The wider Reservoir platform’s technical and venture-investment activities have separate routes from the farm incubators.
What they do
Working-farm incubators
Runs incubator sites in the Salinas Valley and Sonoma where agtech and robotics startups test products on professionally farmed plots, with shop and office space, advising, and trial support.
Grower collaboration
Connects startups with growers and industry partners for field trials, product feedback, and co-development that addresses production needs.
Venture investment
Reservoir's venture fund, separate from the farm incubators, invests from pre-seed through Series A in AI and robotics startups that take on high-value agricultural tasks before expanding to other industries.
Research and workforce partnerships
Partners with research teams on pilots and independent validation, and with education and regional partners on internships, training, and workforce development.
